CTE Partners from local businesses, higher education, nonprofit organizations, and community networks are vital and valued contributors to the success of CTE students.

CTE Partners help provide real-world work experiences and skills students need in today's dynamic career and academic environments. CTE Partners gain connections to qualified interns and future employees, while supporting the next generation of community leaders and professionals.

Become a CTE Partner!

What does it mean to be a PVUSD CTE Partner?

Our students learn from your experience.

As a CTE Partner, your business or organization links the CTE classroom with the real world of work, helping to bring the future into focus for bright, motivated learners.

Whether you are an employee or employer, a business or community leader, a staff member, entrepreneur, or other professional – your career may be the career a CTE student aspires to one day.

CTE Partners enrich classroom learning in many ways. Partners may offer a single work-related experience or many; speak often with students or visit a classroom once a year; arrange worksite field trips, practice job interviews, internships, or hands-on trainings.

Getting Started/How it Works

Register as a partner.

CTE Partners list on their registration form the work-based learning experiences they are willing to offer. The experiences indicated are then visible to teachers, who will communicate with partners directly via email to request or coordinate experiences.

Partners can choose to create a CTEWorks account.

Teachers, students, and partners can actively communicate and coordinate work-based learning experiences through the CTEWorks platform. The platform offers partners additional benefits that include access to qualified student candidates for internships, part-time or summer jobs, and other opportunities. Using their CTEWorks account, partners can:
